Disney+ and Hulu subscribers offer some freebies in the midst of rising prices

Because streaming providers often increase prices, subscribers often have the feeling that they pay more for the same service – or a lesser version, depending on what is available that month. In a unique step, Disney introduces a small, potential financial benefit for Disney+ and Hulu subscribers in the form of some discounts from third parties, Freebies, tasting and competitions.

From today, Disney+ subscribers can log in to Disney's Disney+ Perks website with their streaming references to gain access to a rotating selection of discounts and freebies. When I logged in today, I received options for various free tests, including a six-month premium subscription offer of six months, a trial period of three months in Clear+, and a two-month trial period to the Duolingo Premium subscription.

Disney+ subscribers can also receive discounts, including for the online market places from Adidas and “Select” Disney Resorts Collection Hotels (when You remain at least two nights, with the most availability taking place between 29 June and 31 July). There are also some free virtual rewards for Disney games and the possibility to enter Sweepstakes, such as going to the premiere of the film Freakier Friday.

Disney, which announced in November 2023 that it would take over the full control of Hulu from Comcast, said that only Hulu subscribers will get a perks program, start Jimmy Kimmel Livenon -specific “benefits” of Microsoft, LG and others, and opportunities “to win items from and inspired by Hulu” Originals, such as The story of the hand maize.
