WATERBURY – Lola, a dachshund who was seen in a video being abused by a man, is safe and happy at a Waterbury dog shelter, according to a social media post from Waterbury Woof Pack CT, a local animal shelter.
The shelter reports she is safe and warm, the post said. She is in the custody of the pound, which means there is an ongoing investigation, the post said.
Waterbury officers are searching for the man, who was caught on video attacking Lola, police said.
When Lola was found Monday, she was treated for minor injuries, police said.
According to police, this is an ongoing investigation into animal abuse.
