Police are appealing for information about a young boy who was spotted cycling alone without a helmet on a main road in Dundee.
BBC News has learned that the boy, aged between four and six, had been cycling a significant distance near traffic when the matter was reported to police at around 3.20pm on Saturday.
He was seen around Kings Cross Road and the Kingsway Retail Park, but when officers attended the scene he was no longer there.

The boy is described as wearing a white jumper, shorts and purple trainers with short blond hair and riding a very distinctive lime green BMX style bike.
Police Scotland have released a CCTV image of the boy's bicycle in the hope that someone who knows him will come forward.
Inspector Alan Baird said: “We want to make sure the boy is okay and with his carers. If anyone recognizes the description of the boy and knows who he is, please contact police.
“Also, if the boy's guardians see this and can confirm he is safe, please contact us.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland's non-emergency helpline.
