Casino in North California has been established to undergo a huge expansion of $ 2 billion to $ 4 billion

(Fox40.com)-A casino in Northern California makes an investment of several billions of dollars to create a unique entertainment district that could transform the landscape of the region.

The 40 -hectare Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Sacramento in Fire Mountain recently bought an extra 350 hectare. The piece of underdeveloped country between the casino and the Toyota amfitheater has been untouched for decades, but is expected to be converted into what civil servants call a top destination. Soon will be a festival entertainment district, Rodeo room, sports and resort programming, retail, dining, hiking trails and possibly stadium and fairground areas.

“It will yield thousands of jobs and improve the quality of life for existing residents by increasing local eating, entertainment and retail options,” said District 4 Yuba County Supervisor Gary Bradford. “Moreover, it will increase tax revenues and attract millions of people to Yuba County to visit the destination.”

Since the opening of the Hard Rock in 2019, it is said to have contributed almost $ 2.5 billion to the local economy. Although the operation is currently on Tribal Land, the expansion will not – which means that the regular sales and real estate tax would benefit Yuba County.

Officials said the new developments are expected to cost between $ 2 billion and $ 4 billion. The construction could take 5-10 years to complete, but could start as soon as 2026.
