A car blew through an exterior wall and all the way into a Burlington County pub Saturday afternoon, police in Edgewater Park said.
The car crashed into the 45th Street Pub on Route 130 in Edgewater Park on Saturday around 3:15 p.m.
“Earlier today, a driver accidentally drove into our building,” the cafe said in an update on the incident on Saturday.
A driver pulled into the pub's parking lot around 3 p.m. today and accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake while parking, the bar's owner, Omer Onal, told NJ Advance Media on Saturday.
There were about 10 people in the bar at the time of the incident, Onal said.
Police said no injuries were reported and the pub was evacuated.
The restaurant is assessing the damage and working on repairs, according to the update on Facebook.
The pub has announced on Facebook that it will be closed until further notice. A left message left at the restaurant was not immediately returned.
“We will repair the damage as soon as we are allowed and open our doors again,” the restaurant writes. “It was a very unfortunate situation.”
