The EV efforts of Mercedes-Benz do not burn the sales charts exactly. Models such as the EQS and EQE have not convinced the demanding clientele of the brand that batteries are the future, forcing the company to scale back its electric ambitions.
Scale back, but don't leave. Benz is about to launch a new generation of EVs that depends on technology derived from the epic efficient EQXX. The first is the new CLA. It comes quickly, and after getting some time behind the wheel from a prototype vehicle that definitively undergoes in the snowy wilderness of Sweden, I am convinced that this could be the car to change the electrified fortunes of Mercedes.
And for everyone who is not convinced, there will also be a hybrid version.
