Boeing slows down the output from 737 Max to 31 Jets due to problems with wing systems

(Reuters) Boeing (BA) delayed the production of 737 MAX planes up to 31 per month of 38 due to delays with regard to suitable wing systems, the airflow reported Tuesday, referring to people who are familiar with the progress of the Plataker in Renton, Washington.

The factory had briefly reached a production speed of 38 aircraft in February, but withdrew to 31 after unfinished assembly tasks in Wing Systems installation that were strong, according to the report on the Aviation News website.

The issue continued to exist until March and Boeing also delayed a few earlier parts of his wing production to make up for the delays, according to the report.

Boeing did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comments outside his regular office hours.
