The city of Love has become Bennifer’s town after Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez headed to Paris last weekend just before their surprise wedding in Las Vegas.
Of course, their presence in the French capital has attracted much fanfare and paparazzi attention since Thursday night, as they’ve seen the sights with their kids in tow for a romantic summer getaway.
But where Affleck goes, the memes naturally follow.
And so, much to the delight of everyone on the internet, the Oscar winner has been photographed in several states, including with his eyes wide open and mouth open, as he appeared to take a nap during the couple’s two-hour private tour of the River. Seine.
In photos believed to have been taken from shore, Affleck, presumably missing his regular infusion of Dunkin’ coffee, snoozes with his feet on the railing of the ship, which people noted is a 71-foot teak “gentleman’s yacht.” of the 1950s.
A very awake Affleck can be seen in other photos from the outing with Lopez, which he enjoyed with her 14-year-old twins, Emme and Max, and his daughters with ex-wife Jennifer Garner: Violet, 16, and Seraphina, 13.

Lopez and Affleck were also spotted kissing on a park bench for over two hours, according to People, who quoted an unnamed source as saying they “looked like two teenagers” and were “very loving, very thoughtful.”
The post-wedding holiday coincided with Lopez’s 53rd birthday on Sunday. To mark the occasion, the couple enjoyed dinner next to the Eiffel Tower at the Girafe restaurant, where Affleck appeared to be getting emotional in photos obtained by TMZ.
In a tender moment, Lopez seemed to comfort the tearful actor and pull him close to her face.
The meal ended with the “Marry Me” star reportedly releasing a turquoise balloon they had taken to the seafood restaurant and tied to their table for some reason.
Affleck snapped photos to commemorate the moment, which we can only assume will end up on his not-so-secret Instagram account.

The couple, who rekindled their relationship after their first date in the early 2000s, have a lot to celebrate after they tied the knot nearly 20 years after canceling their original engagement.
The newlyweds reportedly have a second ceremony in the works for friends and family that will take place in the coming weeks at Affleck’s Georgia estate, where they planned to get married for the first time.
“Jen and Ben are still planning to have a bigger party with family and friends soon to celebrate their love in a bigger way,” an anonymous source told Entertainment Tonight.
“The newly married couple have kept their party to a minimum as they plan to hold a larger gathering in the coming weeks,” the source added. “Both have been married before and wanted to keep the marriage quiet and low-key before planning a big party in Georgia.”
