The Amarillo Police Department sent a traffic advice on Wednesday afternoon and asked people to avoid the area in Westbound I-40 and Western, where officers work on the site of a serious traffic scrench.
Motorists are asked to find a different route because the traffic is supported for a while. APD said they will advise when they have cleared the scene of the crash.
