Wausau – A Powerball Lottery player is $ 50,000 richer after Monday's drawing.
According to Wisconsin Lottery, a ticket for the 1 September drawing won on the fresh market of Lamb at 227250 RIB Mountain Drive in Wausau $ 50,000.
The holiday weekend was a big one for lottery players. Wisconsin Lottery shared 10 Powerball players won between $ 50,000 and $ 150,000 in the entire state for the drawings of August 30 and September 1.
Tickets that $ 50,000 won before the drawing of 30 August were sold in Baraboo and Green Bay, while a Saturday ticket that won $ 150,000 was sold in Milwaukee.
The winning Powerball numbers for the drawing of August 30 were 3, 18, 22, 27, 33 and 17.
Tickets that $ 50,000 won before the drawing of 1 September were sold in New Berlin, Superior, Prescott, Peshigo, Fitchburg and Wausau, while the Monday ticket that won $ 150,000 was sold in Paddock Lake.
The winning Powerball numbers for the drawing of 1 September were 8, 23, 25, 40, 53 and 5.
Powerball tickets are $ 2 per game and drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. According to Wisconsin Lottery, the estimated PowerBall -Jackpot for the drawing of 3 September is $ 1.3 billion, which is the fifth largest prize in the history of the Powerball game.
