Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) Dismantled Former President Donald Trump’s On Friday 14 page response on a subpoena from the House Select Committee investigating deadly US Capitol riots.
Raskin, a member of the committee, told MSNBC’s Chris Hayes that Trump was already “playing his stupid games” with his response.
“I mean, that letter, including the use of the royal ‘we’, which was quite shocking, is just an outrageous distraction from reality to the extent that there’s something substantial or substantial in it,” he continued.
Raskin checked Trump’s reality over his claim that Republicans felt the election had been rigged, saying MAGA Republicans have so far been unable to figure out how the vote was actually stolen.
“They can’t tell. They just have a feeling. And in fact, Trump uses that in this hugely revealing letter, saying that many people “feel” that fraud has been committed,” he added. “My apologies. Your feelings, Mr. Snowflake, cannot determine the course of the republic’s future. No, your feelings cannot dictate our election.”
