CUPERTINO, Calif. — At 1 p.m. EST on Wednesday, September 7, Apple will host its first in-person, indoor launch event at the Steve Jobs Theater on the company’s Cupertino campus since before the COVID-19 pandemic began.

As has long been a tradition, we will be live blogging the event on site, so be sure to come back to this page when the event starts to follow!

Since this is a September event, you can bet on one thing above all: new iPhone models. Apple is expected to roll out the entire iPhone 14 range, including the Pro models. Rumor has it that the company will drop the mini size in favor of a new Plus or Max size for the regular iPhone 14, but there won’t be many major changes beyond that.

The iPhone 14 Pro, on the other hand, may get a dramatically improved camera and may drop the notch at the top of the screen in favor of a cutout for the front camera and sensors.

Apple will likely talk about its new Apple Watch models as well, though we know less about those than rumors of a new, extra-durable model for sports users — and an update to AirPods Pro is also possible, along with launch dates for the next major releases. watchOS and iOS.
