Trump talks Diddy and Ghislaine Maxwell grace while he tells a reporter: “I haven't heard the name so long”

President Donald Trump said on Monday that he would consider a grace for Ghislaine Maxwell, the convicted sex trafficking who intertwined with the deceased friend of the president, pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, for traffic and abuse of minor girls in several states.

He also said that he had been asked for a grace by Sean “Diddy” Combs, the hip -hop mogul that was sentenced to more than four years in the federal prison after a federal prostitution disposal last week.

In the Oval Office during an event about the approval of a new Mijnweg in Alaska, Trump was asked if he would consider Clemency for Maxwell, a British Socialite that was sued for sex trade after Epstein, who once described himself as Trump's best friend, hung himself in a New York Detention Cell.

“You know, I've heard the name for so long. I can say that I have to look at it. I should take a look,” Trump said.

He then said that he “should talk to the doj” and emphasized that he “did not know”, despite the case that dominated the headlines for months about a two -part attempt to force the release of case files of the attempt by the Ministry of Justice to continue Epstein.

“I will look at it … Many people have asked me for grace,” he added.

Trump also said that combs, whom he called 'Puff Daddy', a nickname that the rapper did not use since he had acquitted a quarter of a century ago from weapons and bribery-habd also asked him for a grace.

The president's comments about Maxwell came hours after the Supreme Court had denied her appeal, that her lawyers had submitted because she should never have been prosecuted because an earlier non-prosecution agreement of the prosecutors in Florida should have been applied to her as a fellow side shaller with the deceased pedophile.

The Ministry of Justice had called on the judges to reject that argument, in which lawyer -general D. John Sauer claimed that the American attorney who supervised that agreement should obtain permission for the conditions for applying outside that district.

Maxwell was charged in 2020 in the federal court of the New York for crimes related to the decades-long schedule of Epstein to recruit young women and girls as young as 14 years old, then sexually.

From 1994 to 2004, Maxwell and Epstein worked together to recruit young girls and tempt them to travel to Epstein's property, according to public prosecutors. During a one -month trial in 2021, survivors witnessed at the federal court in Manhattan that Maxwell had taken care of them, had taken their passports and had sexually abused them.

President Donald Trump's relationship with Epstein and Maxwell is under a close look after the Ministry of Justice tried to conduct research, despite the promise of the President to release the so-called “Epstein files” that critics claim that critics can uncover a broader conspiracy that implicated powerful figures.

Maxwell's lawyer, David Oscar Markus, said The independent In a statement that her legal team was “deeply disappointed” that the court had refused to deal with her case.

“But this fight is not over. There are still serious legal and factual issues and we will continue to follow every available path to ensure that justice is ready,” he added.

Maxwell, who is now 63, is not planned to be released from prison until 2040. Her best chance of early release is a presidential pardon, although legal experts warn that public explanations suggest that a grace is even on the table, Maxwell can encourage it to do everything she can to secure one.

Markus, her lawyer, has previously said that Maxwell would 'welcome' one, although she has not formally sought a grace of Trump.
