Former NFL Quarterback Mark Sanchez is in a stable state in the hospital after he was stabbed in Indianapolis on Saturday during a fight and was arrested for his share in the fight.
The Indianapolis police accused him of a battery with injury, illegal access of a motor vehicle and public intoxication.

The 38-year-old, who is currently working as an analyst for FOX Sports, was in Indianapolis to treat Sunday's game between the Indianapolis Colts and the Las Vegas Raiders.
A statement from the Indianapolis police said that two men were in the center of Indianapolis in the center of Indianapolis around 12.30, with one stab wounds and the other cuts.
The police said that the fight was “an isolated incident between the two men and not a random act of violence”. The name of the other man has not been released.

Sanchez is still in the hospital and was not booked in the prison of the province, the police said in a statement, adding that definitive decisions on charges will be made by the office of the public prosecutor of Marion County.
Sanchez played 10 seasons in the NFL, starting with the New York Jets for five years before short stints with various other franchises. He has not been playing in the National Football League since 2018.
After his retirement, he started a temporary employment career at ESPN before moving to FOX Sports in 2021.
