CNN Data Chief Spots 1 of the 'best characters' for Democrats after winning Arizona

CNN's head data analyst Harry Enten on Wednesday emphasized that Rep.-Elect Adelita Grijalva (D) could identify more good news for her party in the 7th Congress District of Arizona next year. (View the segment below.)

The victory of Grijalva – a progressive set to succeed her father after he died of cancer in March – cuts further on the slender majority of the Gop and, according to enterten, indicates a “massive step to left” in the district.

Grijalva won the special election with a margin of +39 percentage points, according to 87% of the estimated mood. That is better than former Vice President Kamala Harris, who took the district at +22 percentage points last year.

Enten argued that the victory of Grijalva in the district-that the boundary between the US-Mexico neighborhood is linked to Democrats who “do much better” in predominantly Latino districts.

And, he added, Grijalva joins others in her party who performed better this year than their opponents in a special election of the house.

In the special elections of the house, Democrats are doing +18 percentage points better than Harris in 2024 this year, per graft.

“Again, this is one of the best signs that Democrats have had so far – when people vote, Democrats are doing considerably better than they did just less than a year ago,” said ENTEN.

Entened stated that the performance of the party has the potential to “really do” next year in the mid -terms before he pointed out that the party that “surpassed” has won the house five of five times in special elections since 2005.
