Mururene Comey, public prosecutor in Epstein and Combs matters and daughter of the former FBI director, complains after his dismissals

Mururene Comey, a federal public prosecutor who is involved in Jeffrey Epstein's affairs, Ghislaine Maxwell and Sean Combs, has sued the Trump administration due to its dismissal this summer, as a result of which a different legal challenge is being hired for the treatment of the Ministry of Career Officials.

Comey, the daughter of former FBI director James Comey, claims in a lawsuit that was filed on Monday at the Federal Court in Manhattan that she did not get an explanation for her termination and says it was made as a retribution because she was her father's daughter.

“Mrs. Comey's termination – without reason, without prior notice and without any opportunity to dispute – was illegal and unconstitutional,” said the court case. “In reality there is no legitimate explanation. Rather, the defendants have dismissed Mrs. Comey alone or substantially because her father is a former FBI director James B. Comey, or because of her observed political beliefs and beliefs, or both,” the court case claims.

Comey is one of the many federal officials who have been dismissed by the Trump government that have brought lawsuits to restore their positions or ask wages in a challenge for the radical removal of FBI agents and other federal public prosecutors without notification or to legal proceedings.

The Ministry of Justice and the office of the American lawyers for the southern district of New York refused to comment.

Comey was informed on July 16 by e -mail that she had been removed from her position “in accordance with Article II of the American Constitution,” the lawsuit said.

She said that no reason was given for her termination after an almost decade of positive performance assessments and promotions.

Jay Clayton, the American lawyer for the southern district of New York, said Comey, according to the court case: “The only thing I can say is that it came from Washington. I can't tell you anything else.”

“We don't know who made the decision,” said Ellen Blain, a lawyer for Comey, on Monday to CNN's Burnett. “We don't know why the lever was drawn, but we know that there was no good cause to dismiss Mauree Comey, who has been an excellent Ausa in the southern district for ten years.”

Blain said on 'Outfront' that Comey 'justified the case both her personal rights and to protect other federal employees.

At the time of her resignation, CNN reported that a person who is familiar with the situation said that a Comey is untenable in this administration, since her father James Comey 'constantly goes after the administration'.

Comey came to the office of the American lawyers in November 2015 and rose from the ranks that became leaders of different units, but eventually asked to join her colleagues again, so that she could get back to the courtroom.

Her last process was the persecution of Sean “Diddy” Combs, which was convicted in July of two transport counts to start prostitution. He was acquitted of racketeering -entry and two counts of sex trade. She led the interrogation of various important witnesses, including the former girlfriend of Combs who testified under the pseudonym Jane.

In addition to investigating and prosecuting Epstein and Maxwell, Comey also continued gynecologist Robert for the sexual abuse of patients.

Comey was fired the day after she was asked to take the lead in a “large public corruption case,” said her lawsuit.
