Dozens of officers injured as up to 150,000 of Tommy Robinson Rally

    Twenty-six officers were injured while checking a protest organized by the extreme right-wing activist Tommy Robinson, with a maximum of 150,000 people marching through Central London.

    The tensions fell on the Unite The Kingdom Rally, in which some protesters threw bottles and other projectiles at the police, the Metropolitan Police – said four seriously injured.

    Tech billionaire Elon Musk spoke with demonstrators on Whitehall via Videolink, while 5,000 people organized themselves organized by stand-up of racism at a nearby counter-protest.

    Assistant commissioner Twist said that officers had suffered broken teeth, concussion, an insured disk, a head injury and a possible broken nose.

    “The 25 arrests that we have made so far is just the beginning,” he added, while the people who were involved in disorder were to identify.

    Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood convicted “those who have attacked and injured police officers”.

    “Everyone participating in criminal activities will face the full power of the law,” she added.

    Around the afternoon the two demonstrations were distributed on Whitehall by police officers.

    While the rally was mostly peaceful, said that some officers had been attacked while they tried to keep the two groups apart.

    The Unite The Kingdom protest had “surpassed the estimates of the organizers,” said the troops, which meant that there was not enough room for them on Whitehall and Parliament Square.

    Large crowds ignored the instructions of the police and tried to get into safe areas and stains that were occupied by those who participated in the stand -up of racism protest.

    “When officers intervened to block their path, they were attacked with stairs and punches,” said the with, adding that riot police, horses and dogs were used to keep the opposite groups apart.

    Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, addressed the crowd at the “Freedom of Speech Festival”, where he criticized politicians for “parroting” of his ideas.

    He also claimed that British courts had decided that the rights of migrants without papers who had replaced the “local community”.

    Last month, the Court of Appeal destroyed an order that was blocking asylum seekers who were housed in the Bell Hotel in Epping, Essex.

    Musk made a surprising appearance via Videolink and spoke about “massive uncontrolled migration” and called for a “change of government” in the UK.

    “Something needs to be done,” said Musk, interviewed by Robinson.

    “There must be a dissolution of the parliament and a new mood.”

    TV presenter Katie Hopkins also spoke on stage after he previously appeared in addition to Robinson, Laurence Fox and Ant Middleton at the front of the Mars near Waterloo Station.

    In the neighborhood, at the stand -up of racism -Rally, independent parliament member Diane Abbott demonstrators told: “We know that racism and violence and fascism are not new.

    “But you know what? We have always defeated that racism and violence.”

    Robinson brought his theater events to an end just after 18:30 and promised such an event.

    The 42-year-old was released from prison earlier this year after he was put in prison in October because he ignored an order not to repeat false claims about a Syrian refugee, who had successfully sued him for defamation.
