A second security warning continues in Craigavon, County Armagh, after the discovery of suspicious devices on Monday evening.
The second report was declared in Aldervale in the early hours of Tuesday morning after an unknown item was thrown on a police car.
Cordons are present on the Tullygalley -road. The police have asked the public to avoid the area and the police remain on site.
A man has been arrested and remains in police detention.
The security warning in the Pinebank area was explained after a member of the public discovered suspicious items.
A number of residents had to spend the night in a GAA club after their houses were evacuated.
The public was also asked to avoid that area and the cordons are present.
Sinn Féin councilor Jude Mallon said: “Due to the constant safety warning in Pinebank, many residents are forced to evacuate their homes.
“I want to recommend the local GAA club, Éire Op and Brownnow Hub, who have opened their facilities to support the affected.”
'Broad Cordon and Helicopter Cirkeling'
In Craigavon the Cordon is wide – extends from within the Pinebank estate to Aldervale, which is now mainly Parkland.
A helicopter regularly circles upstairs and there is a strong police disadvantage around the Cordon. An army robot is on site within the Cordon.
Slightly shocking, the cheerful sound of children playing in a nearby school playground can also be heard.
However, some school children will not be in school today – have been put out of their homes, they spent the night in the local GAA club.

Éire even chairman Fergal Connolly said that some residents were still in the club [BBC]
Éire, and chairman Fergal Connolly said about a dozen families and more than 20 people in total spent the night there.
“There are still a few. A number of residents also slept in their cars and came in here to use the toilets,” he said.
“There were about a dozen volunteers who also supported with blankets, food, tea and coffee, snacks and the Golden Korstbakkerij in Lurgan provided food for breakfast.
“We are still waiting for completely clear. We have been here since 10.30 am last night and there was very little sleep.”

Sinn Féin -councilor Catherine Nelson said people were “really scared” [BBC]
Sinn Féin councilor Catherine Nelson said: “People just want to get home”.
“Last night people were incredibly sad, including young people who were on the road and who were very afraid to come home, people who were evacuated in the middle of the night, not knowing how long this will go.”
Nelson praised the community that gathered to support those who had been evacuated.
“The spirit of Craigavon, the real face of Craigavon is the actions of those who have responded to this in this way. Those who are responsible – they have no place in this community.
“People were really scared, this is not the norm. There are children who went to school this morning without uniform, no breakfast, not slept in a bed last night, that is not desirable,” Nelson said.
