White House Pers Secretary Karoline Leavitt is confronted with heat for a new claim about President Donald Trump that critics found fairly easy to refute.
“President Trump is the most transparent and accessible president in American history!” She wrote on X when Trump called reporters in the Oval Office on Monday, where he signed executive orders aimed at burning the flag and bail without cash.
Trump was 'accessible', in the sense that he spoke extensively and made some wild and bizarre claims and error peaks.

But critics had a harder time with the word 'transparent' to describe Trump.
They quickly shoot back to Leavitt and reminded her that the president did not release any files related to the deceased convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein, as he and his allies have repeatedly promised.
They also pointed out that he has been less than transparent about other important issues, including his failure to release his tax returns, as well as the refusal to provide more full medical information in the midst of new questions about his health:
