President Donald Trump met Russian President Vladimir Putin for historical conversations about American soil on Friday. In the cover of the pre-press conference on CNN, however, veteran anchor Jake Tapper seemed to be elsewhere. Live speaking from Anchorage, Alaska, where the meeting between the two world leaders took place, Tapper was told that he had a testy exchange with a producer, just when colleague anchor Anderson Cooper finished the spotlights of his colleague. “It's going well,” Tapper can be heard with what an annoyance seems to be. “Just give me my show back.”
The experienced anchor was overwhelmed – and on the camera – by the coverage of CNN about the historic encounter of Trump with Putin.
