The American rep. Lauren Boebert speaks out while her 20-year-old son Tyler is confronted with a child abuse crime.
According to a report from the Denver, Colo.-based outlet WestwordTyler, the eldest of the four sons of the congress woman, received a quote for “criminal negligence” bound to an incident in which his son was involved on 11 July.
A court obtained by the exhaust of the court states: “No death or injury has occurred.” Tyler – who welcomed the child when he was 17 years old – received the criminal quotation by the Windsor Police Department (WPD), about 60 miles outside.
Other details about the circumstances of the incident were not immediately available, but Lauren, 38, a Republican politician, told people in a statement: “Tyler has done great work as a father and citizen last year.”
“Unfortunately, this event stemes from a miscommunication about monitoring my young grandson who recently led him to leave our house,” she continued.
The WPD and the Weld County District Attorney did not immediately respond to people from people on Sunday 27 July.

Tyler has had to deal with criminal problems in the past. In February 2024, a then 18-year-old Tyler was arrested for crime accusations associated with a series of theft of real estate and vehicles.
The gun police said at the time that Tyler was confronted with “four criminal counts of criminal property ID documents – several victims, one crime number of conspiracy to commit a crime, and more than 15 extra crime and small offenses.”
In a statement that gave people at the time, Lauren said: “I love my son Tyler, who has experienced some very difficult, public challenges for a young man and the subject of attention he didn't ask for.”
“It breaks my heart to see my child struggling and in this situation, especially when he has had several options to get his life on the right track,” she went on. “I will never give him up and I will continue to be there for him.”

Added Lauren: “As an adult and father, Tyler will take responsibility for his actions and must be held responsible for bad decisions, just like any other citizen.”
The Post independent It reported in October that Tyler reached an agreement and had submitted a guilty plea for one counting of attempted identity theft, a class five crime, as part of a pleid agreement. The remaining charges were rejected.
The arrest of Tyler came weeks after his father, Lauren's ex-husband Jayson Boebert, was arrested after an alleged public fight in which the former couple was involved.
Jayson, 43, was arrested in January on suspicion of crime attack and criminal disaster, according to Garfield County Records viewed by CBS News. He was released on the same day of his arrest from the prison of the province.
The Silt Police Department in the northwest of Colorado confirmed to people at the time that it had started an investigation after Jayson claimed that he was a victim of domestic violence, claiming that his ex-wife “hit him” in a restaurant “in the face” several times.
In addition to Tyler, the representative also shares three other sons, Brody, Kaydon and Roman, with Jayson.

Lauren – who applied for a separation from Jayson last spring, referring to irreconcilable differences – previously represented the 3rd Congress district of Colorado from 2021 to January 2025.
She ran for Congess in the 4th conference district of Colorado, a much savior district, in the 2024 elections and won.
