Fire brigade officials who work the green fire brigade in the Shasta -Trinity National Forest northeast of Rescue, announced that they use two “Super Scooper” aircraft to drop water and extinguish flames.
The American forest service also said that a firefighter suffered from heat -related illness and was taken by a fire fighting boat, which has a medic on board, to a waiting ambulance so that they could get more medical care.
From Sunday, the size of the Growing Fire was mapped on 10,334 hectares from 9,563 on Saturday, fed by extreme heat and dry conditions at this time of the year in the region. A heat advice remained on Monday until 11 p.m. due to temperature heights that would vary from 95 degrees to 110 degrees in parts of the Sacramento valley.

Water scoop
The Super Scoopers was expected to put water from different arms of Lake Shasta Putten, but they need a mile open space to refill their tanks. Posters must go to the coast in order not to hinder fire fighting operations and to keep air crew safe, the forest service said in a statement.
For the first time since lightning encouraged the fire on July 1, the Forest Service Firefighters reported who built inclusions about 5% of the green fire. That's because in the south the flames reached the Pit River. Watercooters, including those who wore the bad firefighter for medical treatment, were in that area and secured lines of defenses along a part of the river, said the Forest Service. From those boats it was expected to continue the oppression efforts along the river.
Almost 1,200 fire -personnel are assigned to the fire. In addition to the two air ships, nine helicopters, 26 bulldozers, 56 engines, 16 hotshot crews and 10 other crews against the fire are fighting. The Forest Service also has 15 ambulances that are organized throughout the area to respond to and support firefighters.

On the north side of the fire, or the area of Elsveren, flames ran back in the direction of the fire line of the shoe fire, which burned more than 5000 hectares before it was admitted on November 9, 2024.
On the east side the fire stuck over flat Creek and to the southwest, the fire moved over the Brock Mountain Road. The forest service said that firefighters limited the growth of the fire on the east side and secured the rest of Brock Mountain Road to the north and northwest.

Green Fire Evacuations
An evacuation warrant was still present for a strip of land that was identified as Zone LKH-1448-A, north of Kennedy Memorial Road and south of Wheeler Nursery Road, according to Genasys.com Zone Maps.

People who evacuate in the West can go to a collection point on the Gilman Road and Interstate 5 intersection, the province announced.

People who evacuate to Highway 299 can do a gathering point at Halcumb Cemetery, 29943 Highway 299 in Montgomery Creek, according to the province.
Zone LKH-1448-B north of the Green Fire Area was under an evacuation warning, the office of Shasta County Sheriff. That area is located north of Wheeler Nursery Road. Other people who must be willing to leave the area in the event of a mandatory order in zones were:

Zone LKH-1200 to the west of the Green Fire Area from the north of Ski Island, south of Creek, east of the McCloud River and west of Bully Hill.

Zone LKH-1190 to the northwest of the north of Hirz Creek, south of the McCloud-Brug and east of Matquaw Flat.

Green fire closures
The forest service also closed paths and campsites by the fire, including the Hirz Recreation Complex, Chirpchatter Campground and Picnic Area, Potem Falls Trail and Madrone Campground and Picnic Area.
Where is the green fire burned?
The fire began on July 1 north of the Pit River Arm from Lake Shasta and south of the Chirpchatter campsite, according to the Forest Service. That area is about 8 miles west of Round Mountain, according to Cal Fire Maps.
