Tucker Carlson had an amusing heated fight with colleague -conservative, Texas Senator Ted Cruz in the last episode of his podcast, when the duo discussed potential American military action against Iran. But the heat was not about the campaign itself, but rather about fundamental facts about the West Asian country.
Cruz was entirely to support Iran's attacks, and Carlson, who was recently offended by Donald Trump for resisting such an action, Cruz gave the company of Cruz's clear lack of real knowledge about a country that he wants to attack.
“By the way, how many people live in Iran?” Asked Carlson. “I don't know the population at all … I don't know the population,” Cruz shouted.
“You know the population in the country you are trying to overthrow?” Carlson, asked with an incredible tone. He then clarified that Iran currently has an estimated population of 92 million. “How could you not know that?”
“I am not in remembering population tables,” Cruz spit out. “Well, it's a bit relevant, because you call for the government's overthrow,” Carlson replied.
When Cruz asked why that matters, Carlson said, “Why don't you know anything about the country?” He then asked Cruz about the ethnic composition of Iran, to which Cruz replied: “You know nothing about Iran, you are the one who claims that they are not trying to kill Donald Trump.”
At that, Carlson burst into sarcastic smile, and explained “you don't believe that” to Cruz. At this point, Cruz referred to Israeli strikes on Iran, although he used the pronoun “we” to describe it, who was currently sounding as if the US and Israel were performing joint operations.
'You break news here because the US government denied last night [it]”
Said Carlson. “The spokesperson for the National Security Council Alex Heifer, denied on behalf of Trump that we acted on behalf of Israel on behalf of any attacking capacity.”
“We don't bomb them, Israel's bombards,: Crus was on it.” You just said that we were, “Carlson replied.
