Moscow (Reuters) -the row between Elon Musk, the world's richest man, and US President Donald Trump was activated by stress on both sides and Elon made a mistake by publicly challenging Trump, the father of Musk told the Russian media in Moscow.
Musk and Trump started exchanging insults on social media last week, with Musk denouncing the major tax and expenditure account of the president as a “disgusting horror”.
“You know they have had a lot of stress for five months – you know – give them a break,” Errol Musk told the Izvestia newspaper during a visit to the Russian capital. “They are very tired and stressed, so you can expect something like that.”
“Trump will prevail – he is the president, he was chosen as president. So you know, Elon has made a mistake, I think. But he is tired, he is stressed.”
Errol Musk also suggested that the line was “a small thing” and would be “over tomorrow”.
Neither the White House nor Musk could be achieved for comments outside of normal American office hours.
Trump said on Saturday that his relationship with billionaire Donor Musk was over and warned that there would be “serious consequences” if Musk decided to finance American Democrats against Republicans who vote for the tax and expenditure account.
Musk, the world's richest man, confessed a large part of Trump's presidential campaign in 2024. Trump called Musk to lead a controversial effort to reduce the federal workforce and expenditure.
