Trump Caps Gulf Tour in Abu Dhabi with dizzying investment promises

US President Donald Trump concluded a Gulf tour in Abu Dhabi on Friday to see the security of several billions of dollars, an investment promise of $ 1.4 trillion from the VAE, as well as historical overtures for Syria and renewed optimism about an Iran nuclear deal.

During his first foreign tour due to his second term, Trump supervised an $ 200 billion order from Qatar Airways for Boeing Jets and an investment of $ 600 billion from Saudi Arabia-including nearly $ 142 billion in weapons, which the White House ever described as the biggest weapon agreement ever.

Trump also expressed optimism about reaching a new agreement with Iran about his nuclear program, and decided in a seismic diplomatic shift to cancel decades long sanctions against Syria.

In Saudi Aarabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, Trump was greeted with lush welcome and greeted the three Arab leaders.

He said that he and Saudi-crown prince Mohammed bin Salman find 'lots of' a lot '-in stark contrast with the Frosty Saudi-US relationships that marked the start of Joe Biden's term.

Vae -President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed praised a strong partnership between the two countries that grew under the leadership of Trump when he promised to invest $ 1.4 trillion in the US economy for more than 10 years.

    – Picking up sanctions –

On Friday morning, according to the local media, Trump will attend a business round table and later toured the Abrahamic Family House.

The complex was opened in 2023 and houses a mosque, church and the first official synagogue of the country with the aim of promoting inter-religious coexistence in Muslim nation.

In 2020, the VAE Normalized the ties with Israel as part of the American-colored Abraham agreements under the first government of Trump, which Israel also saw diplomatic ties with Bahrain and Morocco.

On Thursday he had conversations with his counterpart -President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed after a tour of the lush Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

Earlier in the journey, the White House said that Saudi company will invest DataVol $ 20 billion in artificial intelligence -related sites in the United States, while technology companies, including Google, will invest in both countries.

Trump also became the first American president in 25 years to meet a Syrian leader, Ahmed al-Sharaa, after removing sanctions against the country torn by war after calls from Saudi's Prince Mohammed and Turkey's Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

    – AI ambitions-

There was no announcement of a breakthrough in the Gaza war, which Qatar has been an important mediator, in which Trump repeated that Washington should “take” Gaza and turn it into a “freedom zone”.

But Trump said that a deal was close to Iran's nuclear program that would prevent military action, making the oil prices tumble.

He said that the journey had led to securing “trillioning dollars”, but the greatness of the Gulf leaders also aroused controversy, with Qatar Trump offering a luxury aircraft prior to his visit for presidential and then personal use, in what the accused Trump's democratic opponents flared up corruption.

English-speaking Emirati newspaper De National has reported that the US and the VAE worked on announcing an AI and Tech Partnership during Trump's visit.

The VAE tries to become a leader in technology and, above all, artificial intelligence to help its oil-rising economy diversify.

But these ambitions depend on access to advanced American technologies, including AI chips that were under strict, limited exports -who reportedly lobby the brother of the Vae President and spy Chief Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed for during a Washington visit in March.

Earlier this week, Trump withdrew further checks on AI chips, which were imposed by his predecessor to make it more difficult for China to gain access to advanced technology.
