SpaceX launches 50th Rocket of the year. The California company launched two separate Starlink missions within six hours on Monday. The second of this, the Starlink 12-10 mission of NASA's Kennedy Space Center, was the 50th of the year of the company, SpaceFlight reports now.
That is quite a cadence that you have there … Since there are so many, it is a bit boring to count from Falcon 9 -Missions nowadays, but with 50 launches in the first third of the year, the company is on a pace for 150 Falcon Family Lances this year. For what it is worth, the company also recently launched its 250th Starlink mission in general, a pretty remarkable performance in less than six years.

Isaacman connects to Artemis II and III as it is. The US Senate Committee Commerce Committee On Wednesday has the appointment of private astronaut and businessman Jared Isaacman as the next manager from NASA to the Senate floor advanced and set up the last step before it is confirmed, Ars reports. The mood was not unanimous, at 19–9, with all the voices of senators on the democratic side of the aisle. Some important Democrats, however, voted for Isaacman, including the ranking of the committee, Maria Cantwell, D-Wash.
Approval was dependent on support for Artemis … in particular, both Cantwell and the chairman of the committee, Republican Ted Cruz of Texas, quoted Isaacman's support for the Artemis program and fly the following two missions about the Space Lunch System Rocket, and critical factors in their support. “A dedication to continue with the lunar mission is the most important requirement we must have in this position,” said Cantwell. “Although it is not clear to me where the Trump government will eventually end with the NASA budget, and I am worried about some of their proposed cuts today, Mr. Isaacman seems to be committed to the current plan.”
NASA exchanges an Artemis II rocket engine. A few weeks ago, ground teams in the Kennedy Space Center of NASA in Florida removed one of the four main engines from the Space Launch System Rocket planned to send four astronauts on a journey around the moon next year, Ars reports. NASA officials ordered the removal of one of the main engines of the Massive Rocket's RS-25 after discovering a hydraulic leak on the most important oxidation valpuator of the engine, which controls the flow of super-old liquid oxygen-propellant in the most important combustion chamber of the engine.
