Firefighters respond to garage security on Dock Landing RD in Chesapeake

    Chesapeake, from. (Wavy) – The Chesapeake Fire Department responded on Monday morning to a garage secure on Dock Landing Road.

    According to officials, around 4:30 am, crews were sent to the 2300 -block of Dock Landing Road for reports of a possible structure fire. Crews came on stage and found a small detached garage on fire.

    The fire was then quickly put out to ensure that it did not spread to structures nearby. No injuries were reported because of the fire.

    As a result of the incident, crews said that delays may be possible on Monday morning at the intersection of Dock Landing Road and Portsmouth Boulevard.

    The cause of the fire remains investigated.
