Zombies never really get out of fashion, but they were a particularly hot commodity on television in the years 2010, where the blockbuster series was deported The Walking Dead (2010-2022) as well as a quirkier rate such as Netflix's comedy horror, The Santa Clarita -Diet (2017-2018). IzombieA supernatural procedural Dramedy that ran for five seasons on the CW falls in the last category. It has never achieved the mega-hit status, but nevertheless earned a hugely loyal next of the bad humor of the show, well-drawn characters and winning mix of cases-of-the-week and longer narrative arches.

The original Vertigo strip series was made by writer Chris Roberson and artist Michael Allred. It contained a zombie in Eugene, Oregon, named Gwen Dylan, who worked as a gravelger because she had to consume brains every 30 days to keep her memories and cognitive abilities in working order. Her best friends were a spirit who died in the sixties and a Wasterrier named Scott, nicknamed “spot”, and together they took challenges both personally and supernatural (vampires, mummies, etc.).
