Monday's update brings the total Palestinian death toll of the 18-month Israel-Hamas war to more than 50,700, with more 115,400 injured.

The ministry makes no distinction between citizens and fighters in its data, but says that more than half of the dead are women and children.

Israel says it killed around 20,000 militants without providing evidence.

A strike on a media tent outside of Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis around 2 hours Local Time (1 hour BST) set the tent on fire, where Yousef al-Faqawi was killed, a reporter for Palestina Today's TV station, and another man, according to the hospital. The six reporters were injured in that strike.

The Israeli army said it was a militant of Hamas. The army says it is trying to prevent them from harming citizens and blaming Hamas for their death because it is deeply embedded in residential areas.

Israel also hit tents on the outskirts of the Al-AQSA Martyrs Hospital in the central city Deir Al-Balah and injured three people, according to the hospital.

Nasser Hospital said that it received another 15 bodies, including six women and four children, of individual strikes at night. Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital said that two extra strikes on houses in Deir al-Balah killed eight people, including three women and three children.

Israel has carried out waves of strikes about Gaza and ground troops have carved new military zones since it has been chatting -the fires with Hamas ended last month. Since the beginning of March, Israel has extended the import of food, fuel, medicines and humanitarian aid.

Thousands of people have sheltered in tents in hospital connections during the 18 -month war, assuming that Israel would be less likely to focus on them.

Israel has robbed hospitals several times and accuses Hamas to use them for military purposes, accusations that are refused by hospital staff.

The war started in Israel, led by Hamas on October 7, 2023, stormed by army bases and agricultural communities and around 1200 people, mainly civilians, kill.

They kidnapped 251 people and still hold 59 prisoners – of whom 24 is supposed to live – after most of the rest ceases – the fire or other deals were released.

Israel has sworn to continue to escalate military pressure until Hamas releases the remaining hostages, puts down his arms and leaves the territory.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says that he will then implement the proposal of US President Donald Trump to reset a large part of the population of Gaza to other countries by what the Israeli leader calls “voluntary emigration”.

Palestinians say they do not want to leave their home country, and human rights experts have warned that the performance of the Trump proposal would probably amount to massive removal in violation of international law.

Netanyahu will meet Mr Trump on Monday in Washington to discuss Gaza and other issues.

The military offensive of Israel has killed more than 50,000 Palestinians, mainly women and children, according to the Gaza Minister of Public Health, which does not say how many of the dead militants or citizens were.

Israel says it killed around 20,000 militants without providing evidence.

The offensive has destroyed huge areas of Gaza and displaced around 90% of the population at its peak.

Later the Israeli army said that a Palestinian American teenager who was shot and killed stones had thrown.

The army said on Monday that soldiers killed the teenager who joined motorists on a road on the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said on Sunday that a Palestinian-American teenager was killed in the incident and two others were injured, one is in a critical condition.

The violence took place near Turnmus Aya, a city with a considerable population of Palestinian Americans.

Elsewhere, the head of the UN peace force in Lebanon said that the balance in the country has now “changed considerably”, which ultimately makes a slow progress possible in the direction of a more permanent stop -the fire, “but this can take a long time”.

Lt Gen Aroldo Lazaro Saenz told the UN Security Council on Monday that an internal political process could be needed to tackle important issues, including dealing with Hezbollah hunters and other armed groups.

Saenz said that other issues that need to be tackled, are military capacities “and a political track between Lebanon and Israel to tackle questions about sovereignty and territorial integrity and border reduction”.

He said that the permission of Lebanon for the use of the 10,000-person UN peace force known as Unifil, which is confronted with increasing threats by disinformation and wrong information, is also the key.

In order to prevent disinformation and wrong information, Mr. Saenz said that Unifil “must” determine a strongly based story “to prevent misconceptions that UN peace-and-laws work on behalf of Israel, have a hidden agenda and be a occupation power.

Later on Monday, hundreds of Israelis protested against Mr Netanyahu and his government.

The protests in Tel Aviv come when Mr Netanyahu's government has recently moved to top safety and legal officials of Oust and the war in Gaza has resumed.

“We are here today to send a very clear message,” said a demonstrant Menashe Yehezkel-Baum. “Stop destroying our very simple and essential institute such as the Supreme Court, the army, the security services, the police.”

Monday's demonstrations coincided with Mr Netanyahu's visit to Washington. Some hostages who have recently been liberated by Hamas militants in Gaza, as well as their families and supporters, have encouraged US President Donald Trump to help end the war.

“We are about to turn from democracy to dictatorship, and I am here to defend democracy,” said another demonstrant Nitzan Shael.
