A State-supported semiconductor tool Maker based in Shenzhen, who has connections with Huawei Technologies and has increased the hope that China will reduce its dependence on American chip-making technologies will make his debut during a trade event in Shanghai next week.
Sicarrier, a chip tool maker supported by the Government of Shenzhen, will launch new products during the three-day Semicon China exhibition, an annual industrial event organized by the American Industrial Association Semi.
Sicarrier was in the spotlight in 2023 after it received a patent for a process that produced 5 -nanometer junction chips with the help of existing Deep Ultraviolet Lithography (DUV) tools. The breakthrough was seen as the underlying technology that Huawei uses to produce a 7-NM chip for its degree 60 Pro-Smartphone in 2024, although neither of them once responded publicly about the issue.

Founded in 2021, Sicarrier arose around the time that Huawei Technologies was subjected to tighter American technical sanctions by Washington.

The start-up has retained a low profile. The website contains only four low -tech chiptools under the title of “Semiconductor Manufacturing” products, while the page for “news information” is empty. The company website offers no information about the company's ownership or senior executives, although it has a “compliance statement” that promises to respect intellectual property rights of third parties.
Sicarrier's official social media account on WeChat published a short agenda this week for his participation in Semicon China, which runs from 26 to 28 March. It was the only function of the bill. According to the short statement, Sicarrier, as “a supplier of a core of semiconductor equipment”, always dedicated to the development and production of “advanced semiconductor equipment” to enable Chinese chip industry.
Sicarrier said it will display various important products that are used in the manufacture of semiconductor, each using a code name of a famous mountain. They include the EMEI Mountain Epitaxial Products, Wuyi Mountain Etching Systems, Changbai Mountain Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) Equipment, Putuoshan Mountain Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) Equipment and atomary low -tuning stores.
The announcement immediately caught the attention of Chinese chip equipment insiders, because it was the first time that Sicarrier came out of the shadow and has joined other Chinese domestic chip tools such as Naura Technology Group and Advanced Micro-Fabrication equipment, which also makes a steady progress in self-wrapping.
It is unknown whether the Sicarrier products will demonstrate all the important breakthroughs, but in an attempt to pursue new customers, the company has devised a slogan that literally translates as “in the world of chips, there is a new choice, and that is Sicarrier”.
A director of Sicarrier is planned to give a 20 -minute presentation about “Opportunities and challenges for semiconductor processing equipment” during the trade event next Thursday.
The 2025 edition of Semicon China, which since the early 1990s has been an important forum for the Chinese chip equipment and material industry, takes place at a time when China is affected to use the American limitations to advanced chips and aids about the worries of Washington that could be used to use the American nuclear technology.

The American companies, including chip equipment Maker LAM Research and Chip design software supplier Siemens EDA, is also expected to participate.
LAM Research will share how the company's technologies are used in the field of advanced packaging, integrated circuit design and composite semiconductors, according to the LAM Research Account on Chinese Social Media Wechat on Thursday.
