Tia Jones, the fiancée of Xavier Worthy, has obtained a temporarily protective order against the broad recipient of Kansas City, her lawyers announced on Wednesday, via Cory Mose of Kvue.
The order was granted after the arrest of WORTHY on Saturday on accusation of an attack by a family or house member and the hindering of breathing or blood circulation, a third -degree crime attack. The full statement of the Legal Team of Jones, which continues to claim worthy of dedicated violence against his customer:
“Today Tia Jones submitted an application for a protection order against Xavier Worthy, based [sic] His violent actions at its peak in the night of March 7, 2025. Based on the truthful information from Mrs. Jones, a judge granted a temporary protection order on her behalf. She works completely with law enforcement while actively investigating the violence that took place that night.
“Madam. Jones has chosen to use her voice to speak for herself. By doing this, she is looking forward to the facts and circumstances of that night that come to light due to the formal legal process and getting the justice she deserves. She appreciates the support she has received so far.”
The statement in particular contains the wrong date – “15 March 2024” – on top of the document, while also missing a word (“on”) in the first sentence.
The Legal Team of Worthy released its statement in response, via Pro Football Talk, it was clarified that the submission was submitted to the civil court, whereby the allegations against her client were “false” and Jones accused of stolen of Worthy's house while he was in prison:
“We are aware of the civil court (not the criminal court) request by Mrs Jones and her criminal defense team,” they said in a release spent on PFT. 'Mr. Worthy denies each of the allegations of Mrs. Jones. Unfortunately, false allegations are still being made, this time in the civil court. Today the prosecutor returned items that were stolen from Mr. Worthy while he was in prison and items are still missing when he was locked up. Mr Worthy maintains his innocence and is in the conclusions of the public prosecutor after the assessment of the law enforcement of the unfounded allegations of Mrs. Jones. “
It seems worthy of criminal prosecution. Williamson County District Attorney Shawn Dick told the Austin American-Statesman that his office refused to accept the case, apart from new developments, with reference to further research by the Sheriff office and discussion with a witness from third parties.
WORTHY recently completed his Rookie season with the Chiefs, which set him up 28th in the first round of the NFL design of 2024.
