The beloved feline was feared for two months after the Palisades Wildfire in Los Angeles left her family's house in Ashes. But her owner, the 82-year-old Katherine Kiefer, had some hope.
At the weekend, Kiefer received a phone call from the animal shelter in West Los Angeles. Her daughter Carolyn Kiefer shared their reunion on Saturday in a Tiktok video that quickly yielded more than 1 million likes. “I was very afraid that I would wake up and (discover) that it had been a dream,” she said.
Kiefer was on a medical appointment on the day that Brand flooded her neighborhood and her children could not find Aggie – who was susceptible to hidden – when they tried to save her.
“The only thing my mother was asked:” Did you come aggie? ” Carolyn remembers.
Many owners of companion animals struggled to reach their domestic animals during the hectic haste to evacuate from the Palisades Wildfire in January.
Aggie, who is about 5 years old, was donated to Katherine Kiefer by a friend during the COVID-19 Pandemie.
