Millions of Dollars in Heroin and Fentanyl seized in huge drugs in North Jersey

    The State Police of New Jersey has seized several millions of dollars in heroin and fentanyl for nearly 500,000 doses of the drug-in the highlight of a three-year study, civil servants said on Wednesday.

    Authorities said they caught four Opioid mills in Paterson – on 150 Harrison St., 92 Manchester Ave., 292 West Railway Ave. and 200 Godwin Ave. – As well as one in Garfield at 91 Jewel St.

    The brand names stamped on the opioid packages connected to the operation are linked to 109 drug deaths and 143 non-fatal overdoses in recent years, officials said.

    State officials said that 21 people were charged because of the charges of the first degree due to the investigation. But 10 of those individuals continue to fought, the authorities said.

    “Drug dealers profit, while people suffer in our state,” said Attorney General Matthew Platkin from New Jersey during a press conference in Newark on Wednesday to announce the charges.

    Officials at the event did not provide information about where drug sale at street level was connected to the drug mills.
