Shenzhen, China (Reuters) – China has achieved a record of 9.02 billion domestic trips during the 40 -day Lunar New Year Travel Rush, reported the State of Xinhua State on Sunday and exceeded the 8.4 billion trips in the same holiday period were taken a year earlier.
The travel trush during China's largest vacation is often read as a barometer for the country's economic health and a pressure test for its enormous transport system. The rise in the journey was in line with expectations.
