The 11-year-old took her own life after classmates threatened to call ice cream on her family, destroyed mother reveals

An 11-year-old girl took her own life in Texas after she was tormented by classmates who threatened to call immigration and customs enforcement authorities and let her family be deported from the US, said her grieving parents.

Jocelynn Rojo Carranza died on 8 February after having treated for five days in a hospital in Dallas. This came after she was taunted for weeks with deportation bed threats by sixth class classmates at GaineSville Intermediate School, about 70 miles north of Dallas, her mother Marbella Carranza said Univisie.

Her death comes in the midst of President Donald Trump's order for the “largest deportation operation in American history”, as a result of which agents with ice and other federal authorities launched aimed raids at around 12 million people without papers.

However, the climate of fear became all too serious for Jocelyn.

Classmates would have harassed the young girl by telling her that she would be left alone without her family as soon as they were deported.

But the alleged abuse continued, and despite reportedly aware of school officials on various occasions, no action was taken to stop it.

When asked to comment on this story, the GaineSville Independent School District did not recognize the death of Carranza, but previously issued a statement that points to the strict anti-bullying code.

Carranza said to Univision: “I was waiting for a whole week for a miracle that my daughter would be good, but unfortunately nothing could be done.”

“My daughter will always live in front of me, and I will always love her.”

Her mother revealed to the outlet that her daughter had seen a school adviser several times a week.

Ice officials have almost doubled their daily rate as part of the performance since Trump's inauguration and more than 10,000 people have already been deported to military flights that are broadly published by the White House.

A GoFundMe donation page was made while the 11-year-old desperate fluid to survive in the hospital.

Her father Ernesto Alonso Rojo, shared a statement on 15 February: “Everything help me and my daughter Jocelynn Rojo. She has to come back home; She is in an emergency aid hospital. Every help, God blesses you back. Thank you very much to everyone pray. DIOS Los Bendenda y le Mande Salud a Mi Niña !!! “

Fight for justice for your beloved Jocelynn, and hopefully one day you will feel peace knowing that she no longer suffers and that so many have her in their thoughts and prayers. “
