BOCA RATON – Three masked men hindered a few shortly after midnight on Saturday when they came home from a casino and left with $ 250,000 in cash and valuables, the police said.

The victims, who live in the 600 block of Northeast 29th Place, told the Boca Raton police that three men approached them on foot from behind nearby bushes while they were out of their car. The men pointed out weapons, the police said.

The men took almost $ 250,000 in cash, watches, telephones and a wallet, the victims said. The men then entered the vehicle of the couple and removed a gun from the center console after trying to steal the car, the police said. The suspects then fled the scene to the west to an unknown vehicle.

The couple had just returned from a casino, the police said.

The police described the suspects as black men in the twenties. They were last seen in dark clothing and masks.

Researchers are looking for images of this reported incident. The police ask everyone who lives in the area to assess images of their external home cameras. Detective Alfredo Lima supervises the investigation. It can be reached on 561-620-6246.
