Adams is a senior from Birmingham double majoring in political science and public relations on the CREATE path to a master's degree in business administration. Adams is expected to be crowned during halftime of the Alabama-Missouri football game Saturday afternoon.
According to UA, Adams is a member of this year's inaugural class of Shelby Scholars, the Blackburn Institute and the Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society. She is also a childhood cancer survivor and co-founded the nonprofit HUGS 4 Childhood Cancer with her family.
“Over the past three years as a student, I have developed a deep love and appreciation for the University of Alabama. Through pursuing a dual degree, running my own nonprofit, and working with various university organizations, I hope to connect with all students and to inspire them to have a heart of service,” Adams said in a press release.
UA said 9,776 students voted in the election for Homecoming Queen.
