Police investigating possible murder-suicide

    A call to Abilene police early Wednesday morning led to the discovery of two dead people, according to a police news release.

    Detectives are investigating the incident as a possible murder/suicide.

    Shortly before 2 a.m., police went to a home in the 5200 block of South Seventh Street to investigate a report of an injury, according to a statement from the Abilene Police Department.

    When police arrived at the home, they found a man and a woman lying on the ground in the front yard, apparently suffering from gunshot wounds.

    Police identified the man as Narsiso Alamilla, 47, and the woman as Baby Costancio, 49, according to the affidavit. Alamilla and Costancio were in a relationship.

    The relatives have been informed.

    The deceased are being sent to the coroner's office for autopsies. No other information has been released as of Wednesday morning.
