Biden fixes a computer glitch that forced the FAA to halt all departures to the US

    As President Biden left the White House on Wednesday morning, he said he had been in touch with Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg about the computer glitch that forced the Federal Aviation Administration to halt all domestic flights. Biden said the cause of the computer malfunction was still unknown. Just before 9 a.m. ET, the FAA said “normal air traffic operations are gradually resuming” and that the ground hold had been lifted.
