Austin (KXAN)-The driver who was killed on September 18 on September 18 at a wrong crash in North Austin, was, according to the Austin police, identified as the 23-year-old Victor Lamar Evans II.

The Austin police said around 2:16 am, officers responded to a crash with several vehicles in which an 18-wheeler was involved in the 12300-block of Northbound I-35, near Parmer Lane.

According to APD, a sedan drove to the south in the northern lanes and clashed with an 18-wheeler and another sedan. APD said that the wrong driver, Evans II, died on the spot.
This incident marks Austin's 73rd fatal crash, resulting in 76 fatalities in 2025.
