23-year-old arrested for deadly stl-hit-and-run incident

    St. Louis-a 23-year-old woman was arrested in relation to a fatal hit-and-run incident that took place on June 20 in the O'Fallon neighborhood in St. Louis.

    Officials have accused Jayla Collins of second -degree involuntary manslaughter, and left the scene of an accident that resulted in death.

    The incident happened near Pope and West -Florissant after 19:30, in which Lionell Alexander, 58, was struck by a vehicle that traveled north. Civil servants claimed that Collins, who rode in a Mercury -Bergbeklimmer, left the stage and encouraged the police to start a search.

    Alexander, who came from St. Louis, was taken to the hospital, but he died of his injuries.

    According to investigators of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, research into the deadly hit-and-run incident will continue to go.
