Two people were seriously injured in a shooting in a Palm Springs neighborhood on Monday evening.
Palm Springs Police responded to the 1500 block of San Rafael Drive on the city's north side at 11:59 p.m. Officers found two victims, who suffered serious injuries but were reported to be in stable condition.
A third person was also present, but was not injured, police said in a news release.
Police say multiple shots were fired. A nearby home was hit, but none of the residents – including children – were injured.
Police say they are investigating the incident as attempted murder. They had not announced any arrests or said whether investigators had any suspects.
