It’s the weekend and that means it’s time for a new Dealmaster. Our latest roundup of the web’s best tech deals is topped off with some of the discounts we saw during Amazon’s Prime Day sale that are still available today.
For example, Google’s Pixel 6 Pro phone still costs $699. That’s $200 off Google’s suggested retail price and matches the lowest price we tracked for what we consider to be the best Android phone you can buy right now. to buy. More budget-conscious buyers should note that the Pixel 6a is just around the corner and will deliver the same clean software and fast Google Tensor SoC as its siblings for $449. However, for those wanting more power, the 6 Pro still offers a larger screen (6.7 inches, instead of the 6.1-inch screen of the 6a), a higher refresh rate (120 Hz instead of 60 Hz), more RAM (12 GB instead of 6 GB), and a larger battery (5,000 mAh instead of 4,410 mAh), among other upgrades. Unfortunately, the deal that brought the standard Pixel 6 to $499 earlier this week is no longer available.
Other than that, other highlights include the Beats Fit Pro at a discount of $160; that remains the lowest price yet for a set of true wireless earphones that we recommend to those who want a more gym-friendly take on Apple’s AirPods Pro. Anker’s Soundcore Motion+, a powerful and waterproof Bluetooth speaker that we like, represents a good value at its current price of $80. And Jaipura fast and accessible card game that we feature in our list of the best board games for two players is still at the lowest price we’ve seen this year.
There are still a few remaining Prime Day deals on gadgets that we recommend below, with lower-than-usual prices on Google’s Chromecast with Google TV, Samsung’s Evo Select microSD card, and HyperX’s Cloud Alpha gaming headset, among others. We also have some new notable discounts on Fitbit’s Inspire 2 (which will be a budget pick in our upcoming guide to the best fitness trackers), Apple’s 16-inch MacBook Pro, and several video games.
