I hope everyone made it through the weekend shopping trip and that no one was eaten by gangs of nomads hunting for bargains as they wandered through Macy's, or whatever people who actually go out on Black Friday have to endure. It's usually quiet here at Ars Orbiting HQ – the gift shop in the dining area still sells mugs and other merchandise, if anyone wants some Ars stuff! – but the ecommerce communications panel beeps and says we have more deals to show you for Cyber Monday!
Cyber Monday is what happens after Black Friday, where the deals last past the weekend and erupt into the next week, like some kind of out-of-control roller coaster of capitalism careening off the rails and into the crowd. Headphones! Power stations! Tablets! More board games! We have so many things you can buy!
