A Singaporean woman and her mother went shopping at a Dior boutique after her mother said she was disrespected by a salesperson who ignored her for dressing ‘poor’.
Amjea aka @nahtyourbby on TikTok, shared a video on May 17, where she explained that her mother came back empty-handed from a Dior store after a sales associate “leaved her there” and “refused to show her the things she asked for.”
βShe left my mom standing there for 10 minutes and later my mom saw her serve a completely different family while she was still there waiting,β Amjea said in the video.

Amjea speculated that the designer clothes sales associate most likely did not help her mother because they received sales commissions and may have believed her mother was “poor” because of the way she dressed.
The TikToker suggested going back to the store the next day, and when her mom said she didn’t want to go back, Amjea told her that avoiding the store “isn’t the right way to deal with your life’s problems.” .
“You may despise me, but never respect my mother,” said Amjea.

Amjea and her mother returned to the Dior store and were assisted by another sales associate who gave the couple coffee and water as “basic customer service.” Amjea bought several handbags and accessories from the companion for herself and her mother. At the end, the original sales associate reportedly walked up to their current sales associate and sarcastically congratulated him on the big sale.
“Eventually I will do everything I can to make my mother happy,” Amjea said.
The video has racked up more than 8 million views and 1.4 million likes since its upload.
