Gran Turismo 7 has rolled out another update that improves, among other things, the in-game economy. Update 1.11 was released on Thursday, with more races and challenges, better used car availability, and some physical tweaks, in addition to bug fixes.

GT7 arrived in early March for the PS4 and PS5 consoles. While the game felt true to the 25-year-old franchise, it quickly sparked the ire of fans, first over the presence of microtransactions and then because a day and a half server outage rendered nearly the entire game unplayable for everyone.

Developer Polyphony Digital’s studio boss Kazunori Yamauchi apologized to fans in late March for the downtime and changes in the game’s economy that drastically reduced the number of credits a player could earn in an hour. As part of that apology, any GT7 player got 1.2 million extra credits.

At the time, Yamauchi promised more substantial changes in the April game update.

These include three new events in the World Circuit mode, new rewards for custom and arcade races (which paid out very little until now), reward cars for completing the Circuit Experience challenges in bronze or gold, and a new set of missions , each of which is a one-hour endurance race with a payout of 1.2 million credits.
