Maria Shriver praised her cousin Caroline Kennedy's 'courage' in the closing of their colleague family member Robert F. Kennedy Jr. As a 'predator'.
Caroline, the only living child of former President John F. Kennedy, published the destructive letter about RFK Jr. on Tuesday, before his hearing of the Senate to become Donald Trump's health secretary.
Shriver, the former First Lady of California, is the daughter of Eunice Kennedy. The brothers and sisters of her mother, John F. Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy, are the fathers of Caroline and RFK Jr. respectively.
She went to X on Wednesday to explain that in the Battle of her cousins that she is a strong team Caroline.
“Courage is when you do something hard, heartbreaking and painful … and you do it anyway,” wrote Shriver. “I love you, Caroline. Always, will always do that. '

Shriver's message contained a photo of Caroline next to the book Profiles in courageHe was written by President Kennedy and on which Caroline, a diplomat in the Obama and Biden administrations, has since provided an introduction.

The letter from Caroline urged the Senate to confirm her cousin.
“I have known Bobby all my life; We grew up together, “she wrote. “It is no surprise that he keeps birds of prey like pets because he is a predator himself.”
“His basement, his garage, his dormitory was the centers of the action where drugs were available, and he enjoyed showing how he put baby chickens and mice in the blender to feed his hawks,” Kennedy added. “It was often a perverse scene of despair and violence.”

She claimed that Kennedy, who before he became an environmental lawyer, experienced drug addiction, had led others in their families “on the path of drug addiction”.
His older brother, David, died of an overdose of drugs in 1984.

On Wednesday, RFK Jr., whose father was the brother of JFK and served as his attorney -general, confronted with heavy questions from senators about his statements from the past about vaccinations, Lyme disease and abortion.
Kennedy is accused by critics of pushing health -related conspiracy theories. He is one of the most controversial nominees of Trump.
Shriver, a journalist and author, is the ex-wife of the former governor of California and Bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger.
